the paint is +/- really need new paint the intirior is not bad but need to be really fixed i'm slowly tuned it up.
i'm taking care of the engine first.
in the highway when i acelerate the car the car is slow and stop at 140km/h i know the car was stoped so maybe thats one of the problems but i have to take him to the mecanic to see it because its very strange my old car in portugal was a clio 1.2 55hp 2001 and i beat 180km/h and and faster reacing at 100km/h and no i don't do nothing to the engine.

Re: My 323F
Welcome!
Congratulations with the purchase of your F!
Usually a 323F BA can accelerate up to 180/190 km/h depending on what motor type you have. But even the lowest (1.5l 16v) has a max speed of approximately 170/180 km/h.. So yes, you should let a mechanic check that out.
Good luck with your car!

I'm not that much of a mechanic, but I have heard that tires have influence on top speed. However, I doubt it would decrease the max. speed that much. We're talking about a loss of approx. 40 km/h. That's quite a lot.
Let us know whether or not it worked. I'm curious.

Re: My 323F
Welcome, nice car you have there I think you're right about the tires, let's see if I can help you out a bit....
The 205/55/16 size you have is actually the standard size for V6 powered 323F's. I believe (but i'm not sure, help anyone ) 4cilinder 323F's should have 185/60/14 (standard wheels). Or indeed 205/45/16, since you have 16inch wheels.
This means that your current tires are to big, and next to the fact that this takes more power from your car, you also are going faster in reality than shown on your dashboard. Compared to standard size 185/60/14, with 205/55/16 tires and when your speed-o-meter shows 140 km/h, you're actually going a little faster than 153 km/h.
So it is a partial explanation for your problem, but I dont think it's the only thing that is stopping your 323'F from reaching it´s top speed But still it is a good idea to switch to 205/45/16, and go onward from there.
Besides, on that last picture your car really looks like it's standing lower on the left side Or is that just the street it's parked on ?

Re: My 323F
What speed does your car get to now ? I'm really curious about this problem you have, what sort of problem could cause so much of a speed loss....
